Neither good nor bad leaders are made in public offices. They are mostly made in homes during childhood through parenting. It is in the home that children learn the values and attitudes that make them good and effective leaders in adulthood, such as honesty, prioritizing collective interests and integrity.
It is also during childhood and mostly at home that children learn negative attitudes and vices that make them bad or insensitive leaders in adulthood, such as dishonesty, self-centeredness and greed. Effective parenting can bring about the sociopolitical evolution that contemporary society desperately needs. As parents, it is important to focus on the end product of your parenting efforts- the kind of individual you will deliver to society.
